In this way, you can be competently advised and represented in German on questions of Spanish real estate law, international inheritance law and international divorce law.

Our practice focuses on providing advice and legal representation in Spanish real estate purchase law, tenancy law and condominium law, as well as the execution of German-Spanish divorces and the settlement of German-Spanish inheritance cases.

Our founding partner, Ingmar Hessler, lawyer and abogado, not only studied and worked in Germany and Spain, but also grew up bilingually and is certified as a sworn translator and interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also a state-certified translator in Germany and a generally authorized translator for the courts and notaries in the state of Hesse. He can therefore provide you with fully bilingual advice on German and Spanish law, which eliminates communication problems. In addition to his complete bilingualism (German and Spanish), he speaks negotiating English and has advanced knowledge of French. As the author of the book “Praxishandbuch Wohnungseigentumsrecht in Spanien”, he has been dealing with the problems of Spanish real estate law on a daily basis for over 15 years, providing comprehensive advice on all aspects of buying and selling real estate, renting residential and commercial property, and of course on condominium law. In the latter area of law, he advises not only the bodies of the community of owners and property managers but also individual owners.

The founding partner, Ms. María del Cuerpo Hernández, is a Spanish Abogada and a member of the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association as a European lawyer. She has completed several postgraduate studies (including a Master’s degree in European Law and a Master’s degree in Practical Application of Law / Procedural Law) and has gained valuable professional experience abroad. In addition to Spain, she has also worked in Belgium and Germany and can advise our clients not only in Spanish but also in German and French. Ms. del Cuerpo also speaks English.
